Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture (IVS) Students' Council 09

At Indus Valley, the Student Council is comprised of individuals who are willing and ready to perform and direct change for the student body and the institution. The council thrives on coordinating co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, community service, promoting cultural exchange, & creating awareness for social and civic responsibility. All events and activities are channeled through a proper panel comprising of department heads, coordinators, school administration and respective year representatives. Many requests, queries and proposals are almost always brought forward by the students themselves.

The council is there to bridge communication between the Institution and its students. It is there to ensure voices and concerns of the students
are heard and the Institution lives up to its prestige and pride.

As per tradition, the council members are elected under the ideology of Democracy. The Student Council Elections for 2009
were conducted in December of 2008 to ensure that the new council was ready and decided for the new term. Read more
